Well that's real smrt.
Maybe a resident advisor like the dorms in college? Bed check at 10pm... No sorority sisters, booze, or hot plates?

They want us to be "fruitful and multiply"
That is a good sign, it means they have long term plans
Now we just need to change the FA demographic

So I heard on another forum thread that JB hires a decent number of regional F/O's? Any truth to that? If so, what are the average total time that they're getting hired with?

We really don't hire that many. Less than 10% from what I have seen. And they usually still have 4-5000+ hours. Not always, and could change.

They would account for about 1% of the new hires. What's your point though? I've heard almost all positive things about the Cape Air gateway pilots.

JetBlue hires a wide range of people from very different backgrounds. In my expirence, the Cape Air guys are great to work with, and do a great job of adjusting to the bus/190.

As for regional FO's, they are only a small percentage of the total hiring. I would say, 121 CA, corporate, and military are currently the largest groups, followed by 121 SIC and Cape Air.

Hope this helps.

Yes, this is true... I know about 4 regional FO's that got hired by JB in the past year. All Ex-military with about 1500-2500 PIC in the KC-135,B-52, the other guy was a fighter, forgot which plane... but also had interviews with AA and United, but all preferred to be closer to their homes and chose JB. All were regional FO's for about 1-2years after military retirement and jumped ship pretty fast.

Dang..that's kind of depressing to read. So for the time being 121 FO's are not that desirable? This is worse than someone ****ing in my cornflakes and kicking me in the groin first thing in the morning

At least I just passed 4000, a man can dream!
