Instead of pay raises in the cba, you just get to take home potatoes on jfk sits.

Sorry for the confusion, look at it like this. There's an application window jetblue opens a couple times a year. They get a few thousand applicants. They close the window. Takes a few months to sort through who's going to get an interview. Give interviews. Hire some people. Decide how many more you need... Ect. When the lake dries up, reopen the app window and start again.

We have relatively no attrition due to retirements. But the current aircraft order book says we need 200-300 guys a year until the end of 2022.

After that unless we buy more planes it'll be about 100 a year.

We start deferring aircraft and selling back leases on old hulls... All bets are off the music has stopped.

If you apply in this window and don't get called you must reapply in the next window. Your app does NOT carry over.

Not just any potatoes. In codeshare agreement with our foreign carriers we announced pommes frites will now be substituted on Mint flights. Flight attendants will receive special training in how to operate a deep fryer. The call regarding waste and water is being modified to:" water at least 50%, crapper at the ready, lard topped off and at 20% of useful life." Word is, to maintain sustainability and celebrate diverse culture and our recent destination of Mexico City, the lard will be obtained from the discarded waste at Cuban, Dominican, and Mexican restaurants in the Bronx.

Quick navtech pbs question.

I haven't downloaded the desktop app. I just go to the website. Am I really missing out on actual functionality, or does the app just make it "prettier" if you will?

The lack of functionality is a myth from the old ages.
You are not missing anything even just using safari from your iPad.

You miss out on the sort function. when you put in your bids you can see what pairings meet your parameters with the desktop version. You can also do your bidding off line and submit when you get a connection.

two things you don't have using the web version.

not a big deal now that the planes have interwebs... just don't do it while your sitting in the front seat.

If you have a long or complicated bid then I find it easier and faster to use the desktop program. If you're just bidding days off and a couple of parameters or you're stuck on reserve then the browser works great.

Thanks for the info. That helps out a lot.
