Can anyone tell me what size roll aboard luggage is typically used? I don't want to go too big and have to check my bag when commuting. Particularly for JetBlue aircraft.

Typically everyone has the common 22 inch luggage works . It's fits in the Airbus everywhere it could go . Cockpit , overhead bin longways etc . Sure the 24 would work but only sideways , not long ways . Then you ll be that guy with the 24 inch standing in the corner by yourself . Luggage works makes a 22 inch called the suiter I think. Fits way more clothes than the old style . Have had it for a few years works in all conditions.

Can't speak for the 190 as I don't go in them very often.

The 190 has a cut out in the panel behind the FO seat under the observer audio panel. It fits the luggageworks 22 like an exact puzzle piece sitting vertical on its wheels. You can even leave the handle extended and it makes a perfect coat rack for your jacket. In the cabin the same bag will fit the overhead, longways, but it does fit with enough room to fold your coat and it will sit on top.

You asked this same question when you were trying to get on endeavor? What's up with you? Get through the interview process before going out and buying a bag.

Default Question about PTO

So, if I drop a trip in the first round (Using PTO) I realize my guarantee must stay at 70. So if line value was 75 I drop a 10 hour trip - I have to use 5 PTO hours which will be deducted from my bank- to bring line value up to 70.
If I later pick up a trip -will my PTO be restored? Confused how that all works - anyone feel like giving any pointers? Thanks (not sure what the downside of clearing my line out a bit with PTO and then picking up later in the month from open time pot?)
Also is the 70 min based on credit or block?

doesn't really work like that. If you drop a 10hr trip from 75 you'll be charged 10 hours of pto. because you cant drop half a trip. you used to be able to call and change pto's to uto's and back and forth, but it's become increasingly difficult to do with CS. I'm at about a 50/50 with them anymore. Totally depends on who you get. Don't like the answer, call back on another shift and ask again until you get so infuriated you give up... but, There's always the CPO route too. Just my experience.

It's awesome living in the gray of DR and contract negotiations.

That being said there is a huge divide in the pilot group on representation but the discussions are far more civilized then what is being displayed on this forum. Yes we are underpaid and under compensated by at least 28% but most of the pilots are either looking for jobs elswhere or don't care about representation anymore. IMHO apathy appears to have set in among most of the other CBA supports that I know. It is a good place to work hopefully management will realize that guys/girls are leaving and up the compensation to keep the pilot group here.
In the year I've been here, I'd say this is spot on.
Everyone is much happier here than where I came from. However, there is a slow but steady negative influence from the pilot group(and rightly so). I really hope management figures out that they need to make things right sooner than later.
Dragging their feet on the contract like they are keeps the infection spreading. It's hard to quantify the effects of that but I really don't want to see it ruin such a positive workplace that is the cornerstone of our business model.

Default worth applying at next window

Hi, I was just wondering if it is worth applying to JetBlue with my current qualifications?

TT:4700
TPIC:2044
TTurbine:2620
PIC:3900
2-yr degree(will have a 4 yr degree by the end of next summer)
A&P IA
Have 121 experience currently at a 135 company

JetBlue is where i want to have a career! I also plan on attending the OBAP convention in august if that would help, unless you think i am wasting my time with my current times and only the 2 year degree right now. Thanks!!
