I'm not sure why you're having a hard time comprehending this. The FOM states this is not one of your duties. It also says "due to safety concerns as well as time constraints, aircraft cleaning is to be considered above and beyond working pilots..."

Your Union who is negotiating on your behalf has asked you not to participate in this action.

You were hired to be a professional pilot, not a seat janitor.
Same humanity that refuses to help a pax with a bag because it is their fault for not being strong enough, that isn't your job. It isn't your job to help someone in a wheelchair, or a mother who has more bags, for her very young kids, than she can handle, or be friendly to a scared pax, and any other thing that separate us from the animal kingdom. Yes it has everything to do with humanity. If they wrote it in your FOM, or if ALPA told you to, would it make sense? Can you think for yourself?

Do you see the difference in your examples over picking up trash?

This is how I feel. I don't have to do the seats but I do as part of a team. When your running late and it gives the FA's a chance to check their phones respond to loved ones it get back on track. I can't find anywhere in their FAM's where it says they have to get me a beverage? I have seen many that say they never do seats come out of the wood work to help if it's go home day and they are trying to make a commute home? Now they have a huge dilemma.......again it requires you to think for yourself or hide in selfish hypocrisy?.....

Those are all admirable things to do. I think any one of us would do all of the above given the opportunity.

However as I asked before and you didn't answer, do you help clean the lavs during a turn? Obviously you don't. But why? There has to be a line where our jobs end and someone else's begins.

Do you clean in uniform with pax deplaning?

Many times on the 190 there's time to help cross belts after everyone has deplaned. However on the Airbus the last few rows always take forever to deplane. In the mean time the FA's have already cleaned and crossed the whole plane and we don't even have the chance to help.

I did, if I had time. I still do, if I have time.

Competitive mins still at 5,000 TT plus? The current job description says 3,000 TT plus preferred, which I think is new. Currently at 4,500 TT/400 TPIC so praying I have a chance.

It varies application window to window. They look at all the apps, and set the competitive mins relative to all who applied. Since the window is open right now, the next mins haven't been set yet.

Copy that. Excited to be meeting with one of your recruiters in Nashville next month. All my encounters with JetBlue has been first class.

It's very important that you go there knowing things about the airline. You can get selected for an interview on the spot. It's more than just a meet and greet.

Good luck!
