Losing battle buddy. Mind your own business. You don't want to do it, fine. I clean when I want to, and don't when I don't. But I darn sure would clean every leg if I were flying with a guy like you, just to pee in your corn flakes. Some of you need to tone down the ego.

I'm interested how HR thinks following the FOM constitutes harassment. Fascinating that you mentioned HR and not Pro Stans. And I've spoken enough with my LEC and MEC to know exactly how I'll extricate myself from that imagined "mess". You notice I didn't say I'd start at the CP office with my issues though? Big difference in overall conflict resolution philosophies there...

And you'd be off the trip eventually, after the second time you missed a Notam in the release, an AERODATA modification or both...and since I do everything professionally and document it all you and HR would have no leg to stand on. I've not been accused of having an ego by a single FO in 3 years in the left seat in both jets here. But keep beating your chest about that. Have fun continuing to degrade the profession for your own amusement in the meantime.
You may want to stop; realize it or not but you are painting yourself to be a real tool. I suspect you are wrapped up in making your case but step back for a second and calm down. Guys who help are being just that "helpful". Seems odd that you would try to make them some else.

The reality is I don't let first year guys buy food or drinks and I'd like to see this company and our pilot group live up to their full potential. I passionately believe there are many ways to help the back end crew out without grabbing blue gloves. Peace guys.

Good god AE you're coming off as a di$k.
I'm sure you're a good dude, but equating cleaning to looking for intricate FOM violations does not bode well hombre.
I don't clean, no biggy, but if the other dude wants to clean... I for sure am not going to retaliate.
Tex
Edit: tried to tone it down a bit and not sound like a tool myself. Doesn't help anyone.

Meh, fair enough. Honestly I am beyond caring whether a guy that wants to clean the cabin but can't perform his duties as a First Officer completely and to the full description thinks I'm a tool or not. I've honestly found a pretty consistent correlation; the sharp guys that check what they're supposed to check, catch my screw ups and are fully involved members of our two-pilot crew don't tend to run back to clean. I'll desist the back and forth on this thread though.

Let's steer this train back onto the tracks...
Anyone hear about new hiring numbers? The reserve grid is looking more red than green lately, and I've heard rumors of an increase in 2016 projections.

We don't typically open the app window until the WIA conference, so I figured maybe they were in a rush to get some more apps and interviews scheduled. Or maybe just hoping some of the Republic guys would apply after they announced BK.

I was surprised by this too, windows are almost always opened prior to Obap or WIA etc . At least it has been the last three years . About 3 weeks early on this run .
Good luck for those trying , get to WIA if you can. Much greater odds of you can meet face to face

The JFK 320 FO grid has been fairly green lately. I wonder if your experience is based on all the 190 guys switching to the bus, or if we are losing people to other airlines.
