I know there are more ways to make extra at larger airlines than at the Regionals. So, how much can I expect to make in the 2 to 4 year range?
So turning 97 an hour into 97k means 83 hours a month. Easily doable with a line on either airplane at JB. I am a slacker most months and drop but when it works for the family I'll turn up the wick for a month and I averaged 80 credit for last year on the 190. The bus would be easier to credit more, it has more deadheads and soft time or so I'm told. If you live in base and are proactive about the times when premium is available (Reserve augmentation or voluntary day off assignments) then you could push to 100 consistently. this is all after you have a line. Don't expect to break guarantee on reserve very often.

Once off RSV, you can work yourself to death should you feel the need to. FLICA yourself in to extra flying, RSA, VDA, ect... That second year pay will be whatever your seniority will hold and how savvy you are with the computer and what you're willing to abuse yourself with. The 320 May pay more, But right now, most of the movement will be on the 190 for some time. Lots of locks are expiring.

I heard roughly the same as March when I was discussing deferment options.

My guess is they're not proactively announcing as many new routes and cities as last year this time pending the outcome of Cuba slots. Hopefully we get them all and increase hiring. Probably not though.

Probably take some Airbus deliveries that were due late this year and accelerate them to be delivered before the service to Cuba starts. In the end we'll get all of the non-HAV stuff requested, and probably total 4-5 daily HAV flights from various US cities. 3-4 airframes should cover this extra flying.

Also remember, this service will be starting around September, so we have lots of slack in the schedule for that time of year.

what flyby said.

Plus they said this year would have little to no new cities and more connect the dots type city pairs announced.

All makes sense. It would be nice to see a new order on the books for the future.

Lots of talk on how much you can work/make, but what about the opposite? How much can you drop, how little can you work? Is there a minimum you're allowed to drop to?
