Thanks. How quickly does that PTO bank replenish, and what happens if you draw the bank to zero? Are you stuck at dropping just to 70 hrs credit?

Negative ghost rider... You may PTO or UTO down to 70hrs. Green is dropable, black is the floor and requires higher interventions.
(unless something changed recently that I'm not aware of.)

The only way to get below 70 is to PTS/UTS or EMR, OOPs or some other coded absentee.

I think the 10K(not the Tk-421 report ) shows 90~~ airframes coming from now till 2022. Still pretty significant growth. That doesn't include the 190's on the books because theyre going to be dropped. So pending a reevaluation due to the economy taking an EPIC crap here in the next year. we "should" have 4500-5000 pilots on property come end of 2022.

but yea, i agree, bring on more!!! we took advantage of the last two craps in economy, this is their chance to bat 1000... however we barely made it through 2008.

So FLiCA will deny a drop if it goes below 70? I guess I'm the blind leading the blind. The only thing I got right is minimum 70 hours haha

That's not correct. You can UTO or PTO down to 70. Then you can PTO below 70 hours if the reserve grid is green and you have the PTO. You could go all the way to zero.

You just have to have a minimum of 70 hours of credit.

Sorry guys, cencal and hair on fire are correct. I was thinking unpaid. Need coffee before posting. but I think after rereading all of the above we're all correct.

The only way to get below 70(hours of credit) is to UTS, you'll get PTO debited for other codes.
They force you to have a min of 70hrs credit.

apologies for the mislead. Been on RSV too long! LOL

Can't remember the reserve rules. Will it allow you to PTO as many days as you want? I remember something about 2 drops only.

You get 9 hrs of PTO per month as a new hire. Goes to 10 hours I think at 5 year mark. Tops out at 12? Can't remember.

man, I'll have to look in the FSM. I want to say two. This is what I would do. I would UTO a day and sell back 10hrs every month. 17 days on sometimes less with a PRL and 86ish hours credit. Bid weekends and fridays off... work... almost never.

Sell back is great if you can do it. Living in base makes it easy. commuting not so much.

here's to coming out of retirement.
Cheers

9hrs 1-5
10.5 hrs 6-10
12 hrs 11-15
13.5 16-20
15 21 up
Personally, they can have to PTO system... it stinks. we need real sick and vacation. I'd gladly send sell back on it's way as well for an actual vacation system.

You can also sell your PTO correct? At time and a half, it must add up to a good pay day. Is that what most people at JetBlue do?
