Thanks for the info. I was curious on what’s trending. Congrats on passing the F2F interview!

I know someone with half that time, no TPIC besides helos, 3 digits of FW time, 500 hrs in an RJ, zero LORs internal or external, who got a call. This was his first major airline app as well. No one looked over it or anything. Sometimes there isn’t a good rhyme or reason, or at least one that we know of. Just keep at it.

Still waiting
I had an F2F interview cancelled last March and have just started going through the process again. Sent in my flight addendum 2 Fridays ago but still haven't heard.
3600 Total
2800 Multi crew/multi engine turbine
900 TPIC
Anyone else in a similar boat who hasn't heard back yet?

I interviewed before covid and got the TBNT and am trying again. The website has been improved this time around but the app asks for time in different types of airplanes. Do they mean specifically aircraft I have type ratings in or every single type of airplane I've ever flown?
If it requires a type rating then yes, I’d list it per type. But for piston planes I grouped mine for similar types of planes, ie “single engine Cessna,” “light piston twin,” etc. Just list it out so it makes sense and make sure your times in however you group it all add up to equal your total time. I probably had about 6 or 7 different groupings.

When I applied years ago, I never had any LORs. They told me to bring them to the interview though. A buddy recently applied. No LORs. Got a video interview. So, I’m sure they will be looked at when they need to be…and it appears they don’t necessarily help to get an initial interview. But that’s just two anecdotal datapoints. I don’t really know. But to answer your question, I would guess if you add it after the fact, it’s still attached to you and your app in some way and can be seen when it needs to be.

What’s everyone’s stance on external LOR’s? I have two generic ones that I’ve already included but I have two others that are airline specific (one Delta and one United). Would it be wise to include those with my app (with permission from the people who wrote them, of course) or not?
