- as of 01/01/26, our comparative peers flying the same size equipment are making anywhere between 4.6 and 12.3% more than you, including an extra 1% to retirement.

- management is raising the performance metrics they want you to meet this year….while making 4.6 to 12.3% less.

Keep up that SETWA…

We had a plane the other day where the auto brake switch would not stay in place. Called it in 30 mins prior to boarding. I look it up you can Mel it great let’s board this will be done quick. Mx comes out plays with the switch I’m like we can Mel it. Oh I know but let’s see if we can fix it. Starts digging through the computer stuff. I’m like it’s the physical switch because when you turn it the computer shows it’s on, it just won’t stay. Ok I guess I’ll go get some tools. 5 mins to departure he looks at the other guy and is like do you know how to fix this? Nope. I’m like guys YOU CAN MEL IT I don’t need it. Oh we can Mel it, yeah let’s do that. SMH.

But wait here is where it gets fun. They post a delay because of MX but we are ready at departure time. Guess what the ground crew scattered. It took 30 mins to get our ground crew back who left 5 mins ago.

We took a large delay for no reason. (Yes I submitted a pointless report)
You just gave me PTSD from around half my flights at this company. Zero accountability here.

Another thing. Other airlines treat the turn time the same whether the inbound was delayed or not, here it seems like once it is delayed nobody cares anymore because the code won't be on them.
We need TWO equally important on time codes, the traditional one, and a turn time delay code.

Then the union should declare a labor dispute... Been years of no progress. I'm guessing they know how precarious our financial position is or this would have happened already.

Yeah I wind up with a 2-day back ache every time I ride in the back for more than an hour or 2. Effing terrible.

Exactly this. It’s up to the union to start putting pressure on management. The fact that we’re shrinking to an east coast leisure airline that hopefully doesn’t lose too much money in 2026….doesn’t bode well for us. More pain to come. I think this year will be pivotal. Either this ship will start to turn around, some sort of merger will be announced, or we continue to lose money and Joanna will be out…

Pressure? How exactly and to what end? You think anything this pilot group says or does has ANY affect on JB management? We're along for the ride, no matter where it takes us.

Until VDA/RSA, turning the break off early, doing dispatchers job stops nothing will change. Historically at jetblue leverage has come from attrition, uncovered flying and the AA deal during Covid.
