Since I’m a too big to fail subscriber AA would be just fine. Let’s be honest, Jetblue profits are based off a partnership deal travel website. At any time UAL can likely quit the deal and then what does Jetblue have. Also, Jetblue sold Live TV back in the day and if things get too tough what stops them from selling Paisly.

Pray for a merger boys and girls as Bluesky is temporary and Jetblue management doesn’t seem to be going anywhere.

I saw an Ad last week for a free flight on us as long as a cruise was booked through us. On the contrary, what’s stopping them from selling what doesn’t make money to someone who can make use of it? And just keeping the money maker. From NYCs hometown airline to Silicon Valley.

Honestly though, you sound pathetic with this pray for a merger stuff. How about we get competent leadership that has a strategic plan and swing for the fences. I’d rather do that and go bankrupt than a slow bleed out. Pinning your hopes to a merger is embarrassing. Could it happen? Maybe. But don’t pin your hopes to it.

Hoping for a merger and hoping for a dream team mgmt are two sides of the same coin.

Either would be great. Our current management team seems competent at least, so we’ve got that going for us.

Perhaps, but having been here close to 24 years I’ve given up on the management side of the equation. At this point I believe a merger is the ONLY way jetblue pilots maintain a future via employment.

Besides, what is competent management going to do at this point? Build a network finally? There are no aircraft deliveries until 2030-31 and expansion/growth doesn’t come from a 220. You have to face the facts about the financial future of this airline.

No one is buying JetBlue unless someone can snag whatever’s left of the carcass after we get dragged thru a bankruptcy. We just keep proving we can’t make money, can’t run a mostly on time operation, and the big savior in all this AKA JetForward doesn’t work. We wouldn’t compliment anyone else’s network enough for anyone to buy us for it to make strategically sense given the current debt levels.

I mean $9 billion for us seems like a deal when you see Alaska spending $17 billion on a plane that isn’t certified yet😂

Yeah, and yet they’d rather do that and grow organically than bother with us. Overnight global airline for 9B, or slug it out and build it yourself for twice as much, and they chose the latter?

Pick up a Vero Beach trip and tell us that again.
