Agree. Our stock and company balance sheet is disastrous. Shocked we haven’t heard anything from a few of the activist investors w/ recently acquired seats. We would think a few of them just want out, push for the for sale sign, walk away with a profit and on to the next. I can’t imagine they are happy sitting on hundreds of millions watching it teeter sideways for years on end, while the rest of the market continues on upwards. Not to mention, not even remotely close for a dividend pay out. I would think they would want their $8-10 buy-out and walk.

I am too. Any other company or industry this wouldn’t have been allowed to drag on for as long as this has. It’s a complete mess.

Which makes me think talks are happening. Cause literally any right minded, financially literate person would look at post covid stock price and performance and cringe.

It's the reason many of us are running for the exit, and it's because we don't want to spend years at a company that may go under and risk losing that career we worked so hard for. While none of us can predict the future, at this moment in time we can probably agree that a position at the big 3 is much more stable and secure than a position at B6 or Spirit.
Agree with this. I also agree with what Merging said about Spirit and this place being jobs. Career places will typically have a clear direction, a long term commitment and will typically build out your future. Presently, Spirit and this place do not fall into that category, hence just a job. But I get what you’re saying too.

Most of us didn’t see sun country and allegiant coming. Wouldn’t be surprised if Southwest and b6 are in talks behind the scene while most of public are talking about UAL/B6

Would probably bode well for their push into premium and fleet diversification. But doubt the powers to be would let them control %20+ of the domestic market.

More likely Southwest and Alaska merge and we get with AA than us and Southwest merging

In March/April I believe.

2/3rds of the way through and only 1/3 of the expected revenue growth. #winning

I could see SWA/AS being a good match. It would be a west coast behemoth.
