They want organic growth without the mess of a merger. They prioritized landing the job over a low cost regional. If it ever happened, hopefully it would be as close to a staple job as possible.

Why risk the momentum of a growth strategy that’s working great? Avoid the brain drain and win on their own.

Go ahead and apply if you want to be a United pilot so bad, they’re hiring.

When I grow up and fly for a real airline I want to post truth bombs just like this on the internet. If I really apply myself maybe one day I can be this cool, but probably not

Ha! Obviously I am more aware of how actual merger policy works and disagree with everything in that guys post. I don't believe United would buy Jetblue, but if we did the seniority integration would be done using ALPA policy and be fair and equitable.

Roger. Sometimes sarcasm can’t be shown through texts haha. But I agree. At this point it seems like United won’t be buying us.
