It does keep getting better. Pairing J5R51: DH to ROC, DH back the next day. Self both ways = 10 free hours without leaving the couch. Too bad i was commuting and couldn’t snag it in time, but I’m glad someone did. Scheduling keeps getting better!

Because the alternative is the carelessly tossed”shopping list” length paper pile obscuring things like oh, the rudder trim, flap handle, parking brake, etc. Gonna really be hard to get you all out of this one when I’m there with the NTSB taking pics of the condition of the cockpit. Soooo, this was where exactly? I’m not OCD about the paper but when I’m PF and the rudder trip is obscured it drives me crazy. Uh, yeah I’ll just hold the pressure when the engine quits.

So not defending the company but doesn’t JetBlue give you guys more I guess flight time credit vs the “real airlines” when it comes to helicopters?
I am glad they do if they do. I have never understood why they don’t value it the same. I would think If you can fly a helicopter you can fly a plane, but that’s me.

Yeah, JB gives it good credit...more than any other major airline. Good for JetBlue because guys will come here before being competitive at other airlines and are less likely to bail. Good for helo guys Bc they can escape regionals faster. In my case if I stayed at my regional I would have made the same as I do here for the 2 years I’ve been here while building TPIC and most likely would have been at a legacy by now. AA/DL/UA don’t mind if their pax fly with helo background dudes at the regionals, but don’t count it at mainline...rubbed me the wrong way. That’s one reason I liked JetBlue and wanted to come here. Now pay/QOL/contract (lack thereof)/career expectations has rubbed me the wrong way here. Hope this place gets better. Even some of my juicer friends have become jaded, put on lanyards, and started looking elsewhere.
