I love how you become a reserve pilot if your pairing cancels. Just supposed to sit around the airport while they try to come up with some new flying. Never had that at my regional. Cancelled means cancelled. Don’t have to show up just to wait for them to delay just long enough to send you somewhere else.

I called and showed them that the airport was closed, we had no flights operating but they wanted me to commute up to sit reserve (for my last day only) so I turned around and came home. Did they call to give me a trip? Of course not, the airport was closed.

Jetblue couldnt care less about their employees- If they did, they would have cx earlier. How many new line holders/reservists didnt know enough to bag it and call in for fear of reprisal, and showed regardless? Some flights were delayed 6 hours and then cx'd anyway.
Not to mention the numerous Pitt diversions. "yea lets launch a few transcons into a blizzard because we didnt lose enough money in January 2014"
What a joke. I wonder if the BOD are paying attention.
