Well this is disappointing.
The devolution of the level of discussion within this thread has been painful to watch. Instead of criticizing ideas, people are attacked. The lack of any discipline to prevent the thread-creep towards politics is disheartening.
While there are legitimate issues, good and bad, about this airline that need to be discussed, some participants within this community, new and old, those who post frequently or sporadically, have tainted it with a tin foil hat conspiracy level discourse.
I care about your political thoughts, ideas, and opinions. I don't care to read about or discuss them here.
Airline Pilot Forums is valuable because of its typically apolitical nature. It's a place where we discuss the issues relating directly to our profession, setting aside many differences for the sake of having a civil and constructive dialogue. It's never perfect, but the aspiration and effort to achieve that is what makes so many of us continue to come back here and be involved.
It's time to stop the mudslinging, both personal and political. Discuss the issues that relate to this airline, its pilot group, and the industry in general as if you were doing it face to face, not behind the veil of anonymity provided by a keyboard. Civility and the seriousness of the issues our pilot group faces demand it.
We've got bigger issues than to yell about fluoride in the blue juice. If you can't handle that, there's a whole wide open internet out there for you to do just that. Bring your soap box there, because it's not welcome here.

You gotta pay property tax right? What happens when you stop paying? Still your land? You rent land in America, you do not own it. Ever. Try not paying those taxes and see how your guns stand up to the swat team that shows up to evict you.

And yes, you will be forcefully evicted at the barrel of a gun if you are unable or refuse to pay your property tax. If you survive, you will be locked up. ‘Murica.
I believe there was a case a few months ago where a 90 some year old lady was dragged out of her house for not being able to pay.
Obviously extreme cases, but I’m just making a point that you are a renter of land from the government. You never truly own your land here.

A lot of countries don’t have property taxes. Google it. Atleast on the house that you use for a primary residence.

I googled the list of countries. I’m not sure I could live in any of them. But I’d encourage anyone not happy here to give it whirl, maybe a movement can start. Property tax is a small price to pay for living in the US but still, I wish trump never invented them. ;-)
