But I get it, you don’t value ALPA, your fellow pilots, or really it appears anyone in the matter.

What we have gathered is, that you enjoy passing judgment on other people. Believe that 90% of your peers are more or less scum and are responsible for all the problems here, And that ALPA is doing nothing.

Further more, you’ve now informed everyone here, that your fellow peers at jetBlue are not brave, having no further information on their background, what they have done in life or what adversities he or she has overcome in life.

Continuing on, the guys, you know the ones who bravely fought in WW2? Protecting our freedom? My godfather for example. Yeah those guys, I’d put my life on it that they wouldn’t vote NO, because their union (again having no control over that manual) didn’t have, “pilots shall never pick up trash” clause in it. I will put my life on it again, that those brave hero’s that you speak of, you know those ones, as you said “doing something greater than oneself when many others will not”.... yes those guys, I bet they would be the first ones to pick up that trash.

Get over yourself bro. Show some respect for the dudes that are working on your contract. You seem to be one of those guys who could have a billion dollars, the perfect family, a cute dog and a nice house, be healthy until your 105. But just miserable every day.

Btw. I do not clean planes. Just want to let you know that, it’s because I’m not brave enough to sick my hands in the pockets. Might be a dirty diaper in there.

I find myself repeating past statements so here are some bullets:

- I value ALPA and my fellow pilots. I just want both to raise their standards and deliver results. ALPA is not a charity - it takes my money. I want results that don't take 3+ years. Changing the RLA is certainly something ALPA could have been working on for decades. From my own personal experience in high performance organizations, I can say ALPA isn't high performance. I'm sorry but I cannot undo history and the things I've personally been a part of. I say my statement from accomplished facts driving logical constructs. As I have said before, I won't accept mediocrity simply because they are the immediate choice. Pilot groups have dumped a union in the past to replace it with a better one. All options are on the table.

- Obviously not brave enough in getting results from their employer. The results are accomplished fact. How long did it take to get ALPA?

- Those guys would be the first ones to pick up trash if the cause was just. Defending your country is just cause. Picking up trash because the corporate overlords see you as tool to generate revenue and not as professionals is unacceptable. You know, the only reason I bring up dumpster diving is because it's an easy to understand example of how BJ has double-standards, uses crafty legal mechanisms, uses propaganda, while keeping pay and QOL at an industry low.

- Dissent from establishment mediocrity is not disrespect. If I didn't care about ALPA, I would sit back and let anything go. I have a role in reformation of ALPA national but I'd rather never get credit, working in backchannels.

- Good that you don't clean. More people need to have that kind of principle.

I don't enjoy passing judgment. However, passing judgment needs to occur or else improvement can never happen.

The hard truth is the guys who voted down unionization the first and second time are at fault. Anyone who believed the "direct relationship" propaganda and "family culture" from the 1st year of BJ's existence are the problem. Yes, I do blame them for bringing down the first unionization attempts. Did any of these people really think that Airline X could be different than Airline A,B,C when it is a publicly traded company run by Wall Street?

So yes, they are to blame. Now that blame is assigned, the next step is to analyze how to prevent future failure. One critical step is not to accept false choices, false arguments, crisis voting, or sub-par contracts. It's not too hard to imagine what can go wrong with the upcoming contract. Don't let history repeat itself.

I just read this on another thread...

2-14-18 Interviews

I blame this mentality. Defeatist, conquered, relativistic, begging for crumbs.

- 737 office, not so great.
- 320 office, pretty good.

- SW junior CA 85 hours, 18 days off.
- JB middle of the road CA 85 hours 14-15 days off.
SW CA $40 approx. more an hour.

SW business model compared to JB?

Oh joy, more stupid startup investment. AI will predict which flights will be delayed. Is this how sysops will figure out which flights to cancel? What could possibly go wrong.

They could hire me. I do fortunes.

I predict massive delays on April 16 as a company plays a reactive game in the face of a massive cold front. But fear not BLAME ATC.

Please pick up RSA and VDA. As they have already released both for ALL BASES ALL SEATS. No staffing problem here. Have a great summer.
