Well at least you get to look forward to cleaning cabin in between turns, and 2 weeks of vacation after 15years?

And no, we don’t clean in between turns, unless you are a juicer.

And since I'm here.... Sincere hope that no one gets furloughed on any side. I have been through two already. It sucks.
I'm thankful for what our MEC/NC was able to negotiate. I don't believe any of it to be concessionary. Again, I've worked under a concessionary contract (post 9/11), and it took SEVENTEEN years to get back what we lost. I'm not trying to go back down that road. Personally, I'm happy to trade five hours of credit guarantee for two more days off to keep me employed for seven more months. That's a win. (Especially with snapback language). I greatly value our scope language, and am glad the language in section 1 was unaltered. The exception granted in the LOA, to me, seems like a prudent business move by both parties that will hopefully enable both ships to weather the same storm.

Big business, Wall Street and Government knows that the Airline’s will adjust to the reduced demand with furloughs and they know the industry will recover over time, it may be smaller, but it will recover. Very sorry to say Oct 1st is going to be a devastating day for a large portion of the airline industry if travel demand does not return quickly in a big way.
Let’s all hope I am 100% wrong.

All the airlines just took out huge loans from the government. I could see the terms of those loans being relaxed without much publicity or fanfare maybe. Either way everyone has a good amount of liquidity for the short/medium term and now all have their plans of slashing payroll costs either through voluntary or involuntary means.
