Great question. 8 months into this pandemic and the codeshare LOA was signed July 1. Yet still no approval from our government. Whose best interests are they looking out for? It’s not us.

My understanding is the DOT wanted to see some finalized info on frequent flier reciprocation and this wasn’t part of the original codeshare application. It has since been agreed upon between AA/B6 and is now pending approval from the govt.

I’m thinking by the end of year we see some approval.
