It seems so silly to me or maybe I’m just crazy, but those guys are going to benefit with a new contract. Don’t see what the big deal is. At the very least, support the dudes who volunteer their free time for all of our benefit.

It will also be the guys at the other end of the “orange card” hotline number when I pick up the call at 3am. You did what? And then you called the number they gave you and told them everything? (True story)....

There’s a list on b6alpa.org. Click on all committees then on membership then on non member roster tab on the right hand side.

Unfortunately yesterday's scab is today's member as well. Nonmember isn't good, but better than a scab.

I’m sure “union shop” will be part of a final contract.

You either are a member or you pay a contract maintenance fee (equal to dues payment).

If you chose not to do either then your employment will be terminated. At Endeavor we went after those non-members and they all eventually either joined or payed the fee in fear of losing their job.

Agency shop. I’m sure we’ll have it. It’s slightly less than dues by a few tenths of a percentage. That’s why not paying dues right now is so short sighted.
