It's not your way or our way, it is THE WAY THE UNION HAS ASKED YOU TO SHOW YOUR SUPPORT.
Dues are required for membership. Your lanyard is the minimum they ask of you to show your support for the union and OUR PILOTS.

I said it would be worse without the RLA. I never said the Union was bad. I just said it's not a free market like some of you think it is.
Can you guys not understand that stating a fact does not imply anything about my own personal opinion on the matter?

South- you are revealing your true colors here. Go ahead and just admit that you side with the company. I dont understand how you could be satisfied with the current book, but your evasive nature has failed to convince anyone. Good luck with your career- I hope management shows you the love you deserve.
I just don't take anything personally. It's business, not personal. You guys are angry. Management isn't angry. Be careful, as it is difficult to see clearly when you're emotional.
I've never said that I'm satisfied. You guys make the assumption that because I'm not angry, I'm satisfied with our current book. I have expressed to ALPA through the surveys what I'm looking for, and I will respect ALPA's wishes and not negotiate in public.

It’s not personal... yet you take it personally when someone asks where’s your lanyard? For some personal reason you refuse? Too cool? No ones gonna tell me what to do? To show that you have conviction? You don’t want to be pressured?
Well, it’s not personal, it’s just business. It’s the way the game is played.
You’re a pilot. You support the pilots every way you can. Is pretty’s simple.
In simple terms. One piece of flare is no longer enough and you refuse to even do the minimum.
You point out anger and guys are emotional. Emotion is the only reason I can think of at this point that you’re hanging onto that would stop you from wearing a lanyard in the midst of our labor dispute.
Pure emotion.
Nothing more nothing less.

The others have already made all the valid points that apply to your non-sequiturs and false arguments so I'll wrap it up there. Say hi to Warren at your dinner party tonight.

From the call:
Jamie Baker
At JPMorgan, good morning, everybody. A question on the pilots, I mean, we have a new contract at Alaska, albeit an arbitrated one. We have an agreement in principle with Spirit. It kind of feels like we know where the market is for aviator wages at least for the more growth oriented airlines like JetBlue, obviously. So would I be mistaken then to assume that you're in the final stretch and we should be modeling for new contract this year?
Robin Hayes
Hi, Jamie. Good morning, I’ll take that. I'm not – I won't – we're not going to sort of negotiate in public. We've already gave much indication of where we are, just to say that ports continued under mediation. I think the both sides are working through the process. We're working – we've very good faith, in fact, there were discussions going on this week.
And I'm very – we all are – we are very proud of the JetBlue pilot air community. But the difference between where we are and the other airlines is that this is our first contract. This is something that we are building from scratch and so it's not just a question of sort of amending a contract and looking at – its actually every single page has to be…

Okay.
Positive or just corporate speak?
