Some people will never get it. Southerner is a prime example of why this airline has no spine. I hope people reading this learn and understand why jetblue will never have a leading contract. It's people like Southerner who are willing to be average. An average person for a less than average airline.
You guys are freaking stupid. I hate to say that on Christmas Eve about fellow pilots, but it's true. Nowhere did I say I'm willing to accept average. But you're too stupid to understand anything other than your own narrow point of view.
My MEC speaks for me, and to me. You idiots certainly do NOT.

Southerner,
Doing a standup routine is last on the list of why customers return or pick jet blue to flying them between X and Z.
However, stand ups are a metric in NPS scoring that help determine crew member engagement. NPS (crew member engagement) is about third on the list of performance metrics for FLOPS bonuses right below CASM advantage.
Please stop working for management.

We are in contract negotiations and every pilot should stop working for management.
IMO and experience within bluejet, pilot engagement was a metric for pace of "enhancements" and now negotiations. The greater the engagement the less pressure on the company's NC to moving things along.
You ARE working against us all.

But stand ups are the time I talk about how great I am. I tell people how many years I have been flying, my previous job, and make a couple funnies. It's so great, I get to be the center of attention. Proves to myself I am the man. Right after I typically go in the bathroom, look at myself in the eyes, and say " yeah, ****ing nailed that one".
