Keep the $26/day, bring back training pay to what it was, pay new hires the per diem and put them in a hotel!
The training pay used to be $2500/month. That would be pathetic in 2017 and beyond.

Who is being hired lately?
What type of number did he/she has?

I am focusing on jetblue, I really would like to work there but I am not sure I am competitive at this time.

Unless you are a west coast guy or something I would highly recommend driving. You will go stir crazy at the Lodge.
I brought my truck and boat to training. Well it was transition training. Still you are going to want to get outta there. Having someone watch your every move (3cameras at the bar, six outside by the pool, key in key out at most all doors)gets old quick.

Think you're a little short on TT. Especially with no recommendations.

I agree and not saying that is what it should be! Definitely something that will have to be addressed in the CBA, but until then, mgmt should bring it back to what it was before the Lodge and give new hires per diem 24/7 while in MCO.

I'm sure someone in class will have a vehicle. And yes, get off campus!

I didn't get called until I hit 4000TT, that seems to be true of most people I've spoken to.

So most people aren't getting called below 4000TT? I have a long way to go

I'm just saying where I was, and where the other people I've talked to were. I'm sure some get it sooner, some later. I was at 4000TT, 2800 121.

Anyone know if "Royce" at JB is still part of the new hire process?
