Enough with the emails
I know everyone wants to show they care, but pleeeaaaassseeee don't reply all.
I am also going to send an email to the chief pilots office WITHOUT broadcasting it to the entire crew list signaling that I want to do the same. I.T. is going to take away this privilege if it is abused...

Are we not in negotiations with the company right now? I’m confused about why our union leadership is emailing the entire pilot group about donating their money. Hey fellas, can I have some of your money? Apparently you have lots to spare. #laserfocusmyass..

From what I could tell based on that email chain, it began as the boilerplate Connie Meal reminder, and the idea of foregoing the meal allowance or donating came from random line guys piling on to the first Reply All. If line pilots want to pitch in of their own volition as a gesture of good faith to the office folks, hopefully the CP office can arrange a more discrete means for us to do so.
