Well, between the fleet growth and the 50 upgrades there’s tons of room for hiring. Good luck

I’m guessing about 2 to 3 months. But that’s just a guess. Not more than 6 months for sure.

Thanks! Is there more movement in the 74 or 76? Or both?

Can anyone who interviewed recently give some insight to the new 1 day process? Seems like it's going to be rather relaxed but would prefer to be over prepared than under.

Thanks

There’s movement in both. The last upgrade was 10 767 and 40 747. A majority of the fleet is 74s though, so take those numbers however you want.

We are currently flying 19 -400s, one is in the bullpen undergoing bridge.... another is scheduled for pickup in Korea. 3 more to come in that group.

currently have 4 flying 76s.... company would like to have 8 by the end of the year....lots of issues with making that happen.

To say the very least!! There is a mixed ability and certainly in the case of 2, a distinct inability.

Was just flying with a very good FO who has held off upgrade for a while. His point and very valid one was that he personally didn't feel that when he could have previously upgraded he knew enough about the aircraft, destinations etc. Make no mistake, you get handed the "keys" and told to go move the iron with basically no support from Fort Cluster. This so much removed from the flying most are coming from. I would hazzard a guess that some on the recent award have less than 50 landings in the bird, let alone to mins etc., at some of the most challenging destinations we go to.

The allure of a 4th stripe and bigger $$ override the personal judgements that should be made and this is being shown in the high percentage of failures or withdrawls from upgrade in the past few months.
