SWA 8/9 year FO

W-2 $321,292 (Includes cash excess of 3255)
NEC $40,500
perdiem (are we really counting this?) $7,600
800 block hours
Too lazy to calculate days away from home and all that, but it is generally somewhere around 15 a month, a few more some months, many less in others. Took full advantage of my vacation weeks to either fly or travel. Spent 6 weeks vacationing in California making memories with my family, mainly by working my butt off and then blowing holes in my schedule.

parking cost me $180
uniforms around $300
Paid for my own substandard short and long term disability

As was mentioned above, this year was an outlier. We had a double time MOU that I took full advantage of plus I was able to clear a lot of my straight time flying and replace it with premium flying. This was an exceptional year for that and I don't expect next year will be the same. I was also blessed with good health and an understanding spouse. I do work the system to my advantage, but I also maintain a very healthy work/life balance. My goal is to maximize my pay per day at work and I don't stress block hours or anything like that.

5th year Southwest FO live in base
$220k W2$33k NEC
Average 17 days off/month
Mostly fly my line. Rarely pick up anything extra, maybe a turn every few months. No JAs this year. Took most of last December as FMLA (unpaid) so this reflects 11 months of pay.

I like my time off.

Once again SWA pay amazes me. The FO’s there make way more than I do as an A320 captain.
