Used to be allowed, but has been "embargoed" for the last year at Delta, no nonrevers allowed in the Skyclub at this time.

You typically have to jump thorugh so many hoops and bend the rules so much that you may get in trouble for them that its not even worth it anymore.

but as a Jumpseater, I have never had a problem, putting a sweater or jacket over my work uniform, and showing up with a standby pass at a centurion lounge, or any of the other general credit card lounges with my AMEX.

Anyone with a platinum card in particlar car to comment. Do you find it worth its hefty $695 annual fee with the perks you get as a pilot? I do buy tickets a couple of times per year and I get positive space a ton so that might make it worth some added value. Plus the Centurion and other lounges I suppose. Just thinking about upgrading my old Amex to the Platinum and wondering if its worth it.
