My argument sir is thus; An airman qualified to regulatory standards and experience shall not be denied equal opportunity on baseless, arbitrary limitations. Serious question, why can't the coots just be honest and say they want another 3+ mil in wages and compounded retirement without padding it, sugarcoating it, pretending they're the safest and most experienced pilots in the world, or trying to tug at patriotism and Declaration of Independence?

Money is one thing. Denied opportunity another. There will be ongoing challenges to present code. The claim has merit if not adequate support to prevail. Believe what you want as to anyone’s individual motivation. I don’t fly anything but golf balls anymore. Because it suits me. I won’t speak for others.

An industry standard retirement age is literally the definition of equal opportunity. You get 23 to 65, max.
