My argument sir is thus; An airman qualified to regulatory standards and experience shall not be denied equal opportunity on baseless, arbitrary limitations. One size fits all age downs are arbitrary in principle. You may not agree. I’m quite certain you understand. Which is why the topic isn’t simply going away.

Serious question, why can't the coots just be honest and say they want another 3+ mil in wages and compounded retirement without padding it, sugarcoating it, pretending they're the safest and most experienced pilots in the world, or trying to tug at patriotism and Declaration of Independence?

Again, the courts have already considered your argument. The way the law is written it’s considered a "bona fide occupational qualification" and does not violate the ADEA.

The reason it won’t go away is greed. Good ol’ fashioned greed.

You really think this will end up in a court room? Yet another example of how you guys(and girls) are bad with $.

Money is one thing. Denied opportunity another. There will be ongoing challenges to present code. The claim has merit if not adequate support to prevail. Believe what you want as to anyone’s individual motivation. I don’t fly anything but golf balls anymore. Because it suits me. I won’t speak for others.

An industry standard retirement age is literally the definition of equal opportunity. You get 23 to 65, max.

Blessings of Liberty allow you to participate within that construct, or not.

Participation…

Including challenges to status quo through exercise of due process. If I’m fit enough to standard, I’m young enough to participate.
