You’re welcome.
Age 60 became law in 1960. 47 years later, it changed to 65.

It’s pretty intellectually dishonest to claim that 65 isn’t status quo, as if it’s routinely/constantly changing like contracts.

Dude has two planes and is renting? Sounds like he has his priorities straight! Amirite?!? 🤣 But seriously, I have less in two planes than most have in their highly depreciating, gigantor SUVs that ride around with one person in them 90% of the time.

But to your first point. Only one side it trying change things up so they can sit at the top of the list for two (or more) years, then play the oppressed victim card about a known retirement date.

Isn’t a bit odd that we had two posts in a row from people mentioning the contract and retirement age?

And as discussed earlier. ALPA showed up in our new hire class in 1994 at Wings West/Eagle and “suggested” that we not wear our pilot uniforms if we applied for food stamps. I never did. Mowed lawns and cut firewood on the side.

we were RAPA. It was a real joke.

Okay, I”ll just take your word for it, so it’s gone from the company sent out a memo to now APLA showed up and told you not too..boy you guys are stretching it. So something that outlandish, someone would have put that memo out for the world to see, but suddenly no one can come up with it.😉

Okay sure in the early 2000s. Currently, there is NO flow back to the WO. If I were to be furloughed from AA, I would NOT flow back to eagle.

Status quo is a function of Section 6 negotiations under the Railway Labor Act. It applies to CBAs while they’re amendable. Using it in the context of the pilot age limit and FARs is a sign of being cognitively impaired

You do realize that status quo is a term that exists outside of the RLA and even aviation, right?
