Exactly. I don't need to worry. I definitely agree not to deny someone just because of the company he works for (most young guys at go! didn't know any better). I don't have a SCAB list, but definitely support those who do carry and enforce it. Again, I'm referring to true SCABS who crossed picket lines during a strike.

I didn't recognize that name. I just looked it up on wikipedia. He sounds like a great guy. I wouldn't expect any less from a Texan.

Go easy on him guys, he obviously have less pr.diem hours than most of have night time in reverse.
Welcome to the airlines texaspilot, you might want to look up Lorenzo one more time and see what he really did for your industry. If you don't understand what he did, then just do yourself a favor and don't mention his name around pilots you don't know personally. It is prolly more accepted to swear in a church than it is to say good things about Lorenzo on a pilot board. No worries though, we have ALL been there at some point.

Lorenzo basically destroyed what was once one of the crown jewels of an airline named Continental. Only after the board had had enough and the DOT, the airline was taken out of his hands. What you see today is twenty years of CAL getting back on its feet thanks to Hollis Harris and Gordon Bethune. Rough going. If you want another take on the subject, start a thread "What do rEAL pilots think of Lorenzo". "rEAL" stands for real Eastern pilots, not scabs or the so called crawlbacks (another subject). Go ahead Texas, try that thread on for size.
