ALPA wont do anything but give you a membership to AIRINC, thats all they did for the Champion Pilots and everyone else. You are no longer paying dues so they forget about you. Maybe you will get a mention on the mag, but thats about it..

And as to your second question, nope, no upgrade for me. Was never expecting one. And I have no control over who DHL decides to contract with. I have no control who UPS decides to interview. I'm just a line slug. If you're trying to make me feel guilty or ashamed at previous UPS practices, won't work. They do what they want to do.

Good luck to you.
Thanks for the apoligy, but does anyone else see the irony in these two paragraphs? It's like they were written by two differen't people!

Didnt the DAL pilots turn down the code-share agreement for Midwest???

I have heard very little from ALPA, Prater in particular....I know this is a dog eat dog business, but this is more like child-abuse.

Personally, I'd like all my dues money back and a class-action suit for lack of representation implemented.

The DAL MEC could have put YX guys on the list, dont kid yourself. They simply chose not to, and that is wrong.

Why is that wrong, you think you just deserve to be added to a seniorty list? Sounds alot like catch 22 when YX MEC didn't do crap for skyway, even though 1/4 of the pilot group is ex-skyway. Please, I have all the respect for the YX guys but everyone there thought nothing bad was ever going to happen, you were home almost every night, and got paid well. Now that the sky is falling you expect someone to help, when you didn't care just over a year ago. Sorry if I'm sounding harsh and I do really feel for you guys but we've all had a tough year not just you.

Easy big fella.....I have always stated that the Skywest replacement of Skyway flying was BS. Unfortunately I'm not the MEC and my opinion means little to T.H. and the powers that be....
And dont get the senior 20% confused with the rest of us.I was jr Capt on reserve for the last 3 years...dont talk to me about being home every night. The top 20% have had the shedules you're talking about, but not the rest of us.

No doubt its been a tough year, actually TH did you guys a favor, by replacing you when there were still some jobs to be had.Now there's nothing.

Good luck to you

Young man you are wrong. YX MEC wanted to add Skyway pilots to the YX list. TH, the moron CEO, put a stop to it.

Great airline. Forget about ALPA or any brotherhood in this industry.

Alpa Is No Different Than These Devilish Ceo's Who Take Millions While Their Company Fails.

Don't Count On Alpa To Do Anything But Take Your Hard Earned Money.

Cool There is no "U" in ALPA

Wake up everyone. ALPA is not a Union. ALPA is an Association. Hence...AirLine Pilots Association.

The union comes from within. ALPA is just the sign you put on the MEC door.

ALPA dues are not designed to get you a new job if you are furloughed or even protect the one you have. Dues support all the ancillary benefits like legal, medical, insurance and communications to name a few.

Oh yeah, ALPA dues do not come with a year supply of Solidarity.

STAND TOGETHER and STAND STRONG, that is your union!
