Futile RAH/YX/F9 thread number.......7?

YXnot,
Sorry for your misfortune and that of all the real YX pilots. I hope the arbitrator is more than fair to you guys. I wonder if the Soviet soldiers used the same soothing "we're on the same team" rhetoric on the East Germans after Stalin forced them to take control of their homeland after WWII. The newly integrated RAH will have some things in common with the conquered East Germans with it's third world wages, cool uniforms and perhaps a giant fence in there somewhere.

Funny how most of the Midwest and Frontier crews seemed to be much more informed on the inner workings of the mediation/arbitration process. The information I have received "lines up with" what MD80 has implied. If you feel like your in the dark at Republic, maybe it's because RAH/IBT want it that way. The IBT has certainly not left anyone "in the know" with a good impression.
While I agree with you statements in principle, please stop saying it. Have you ever considered it is much more pleasant for a Republic pilot to say he is now Midwest or Frontier than a Midwest or Frontier pilot to say they are now part of Republic.

All parties agreed to nondisclosue until the end of the arbitration hearings. That was the request of someone other than the RAH negotiation team. IF F9 and YX guys are getting legitimate info, then someone is violating a policy they wanted in the first place. I tend to lean toward people spreading baseless rumors though. We'll see in about a week. I will never defend the IBT and their lack of communication, but this is one case where they are following the guidelines set forth and agreed to by everyone.

Get off your high horse FLEX. Do you seriously think I go around saying I'm apart of Frontier or Midwest? Big deal. It is what it is...do you think either of your situations were worth us bragging about? I certainly don't.

Flex- FAPA has told you nothing about "the inner workings of the mediation/arbitration process". It's not true. You heard something from a guy who knows someone in the training department who talked to someone on the integration committee who said RAH pilots are a bunch of jerks doesn't count as the inner workings.

Sorry, I was only quoting a statement by G Dog (one of your own, I believe). I am not saying you of trying to pass yourself of as a Midwest or Frontier pilot, just noting the statement "we're all on the same team" can be taken different ways depending on which team you started on. As for your last statement, we will have to disagree. I am proud to call myself a Frontier pilot.

Flex - I do not consider myself as a F9 pilot nor an XY pilot. I am a RAH pilot. You will soon be officially a RAH pilot. What certificate you fly for is meaningless. We will be one group in a few months. Please, do not read into this any more than what I have stated. I could never say I am a Midwest or Frontier pilot. I know my place. Trust me, my paycheck reminds me twice a month.

MD80 has a twisted view. It was the US Airways pilots and their management that came up with the J4J concept. To employ furloughed pilots while at the same time providing additional expansion to the fleet without additional debt. RAH assumed the debt of additional a/c. Several of the J4J guys have chosen to stay with RAH instead of returning to the mainline.

My, didn't mean for you to get so upset. I am aware of the confidentiality agreement, and I have received no information that would violate the scope of that. You are correct that I do not know any of the specifics. However, FAPA has kept its pilots informed throughout the process as to the state of the mediation/arbitration. I do speak with friends at Republic regularly, and I am amazed at the misinformation and/or lack of information by IBT. The next round of arbitration is already scheduled. I'll let you call your union rep to find out when that is.

WOW,
This is shaping-up to be the second most disfunctional pilot group in the US after USAir! Good luck.
USAir was acquired and are screaming for DOH. RAH acquired and are crying for fair integration. FAPA thinks that their pilots should be on top. Midwest guys are praying for a job. Sad to watch...
I think DAL/NWA did it right. No one was happy but not to the point of bringing the 'tent' down. They are moving forward while while these other groups are fighting amongst themselves. Boon for management.
