I believe my postings have focused on BB and Republics EXCO. The debate developes when someone tries to justify the actions/inaction of Republics CEO and EXCO. This debate could be valuable when management attacks the next pilot group.
This is for a pilot group that stood behind its idiot leader and said to stand alone, right? So when the 'new' management group came in, you stood up and fought, right? NW and Dl were going to 'save' you. So when you get sold all of the way down the river, this is the time and group to fight, right?

Yeah, Midwest never filed chapter 11, woohoo. If you were standalone in 2008, do you really think you would not have been a part of all the airline failures? To argue how much Republic sucks and what they did should be moot. Were it not for TH, the board, NW, TPG, and Seabury, you would never have made it this far. Every failure before though, is less important than this one, right? But you have moved on, without AirTran numbers. Bet the Skyway guys that are there now or in the pool are grateful that TH cut them loose before you whiners.

I love how you all stuck with Tim 'til the end, and NOW you're getting the shaft. What foresight. RP screwed you. That's Mensa logic in my book (sarcasm for those not a kin to my humor).

It would have been a lot easier for them to handle if there weren't still Midwest Airlines painted airplanes flying around today and Midwest tickets still being sold. Had Bedford disintegrated the brand as soon as the last Midwest pilot stopped flying, I don't think you would see the same reaction towards your pilot group. It's a tough pill to swallow being locked out by your airline that you've worked at for 20+ years and be replaced by pilots with 3-5 years making almost 1/3 of what you were. Over the next few years, airlines are going to stop renewing Republic's feed contracts. You could very easily see Republic go downhill as fast as Midwest did.

No, he just knows what the real Midwest pilots are going through and he stands by us. You won't listen to us, maybe you will listen to an outsider tell you things you don't want to hear, or, you can keep saying to yourself that the Midwest pilots deserved their fate while you continue flying for a company named Midwest.

DR, everyone knows what the legacy YX pilots have gone through. Nobody but the 5 percent problem children at RAH believes you deserved it, or that the current contract (which has been in section 6 since 2007 with a Local 747meltdown) is anywhere near acceptable.

Nobody is listening to you anymore because all you do is scream of scabs and low-cost replacement workers, and putting them all on the street. You got screwed by incompetent management on your end, corrupt management on RAH's end, and a crappy scope clause, so your response is let's see 2000 more pilots out of work. Your anger is mis-directed and you're a broken record. It's really ironic that you turn to HP for support; CHQ's contract was good enough for him to get his TPIC and bail to NW, but now they're the root of all evil? Fascinating stuff.

They responded by saying how their aircraft is never weight restricted, the passenger roller boards fit in the overhead, and they are Midwest and Frontier (e.g. no Express painted on the side). I didn't respond as they are my friends and I didn't feel like arguing. It amazes me that they bigger airplane makes them forget that they only make 3 dollars/hour more than their 50 seater counter-parts. The majority that I talk to have no sympathy for the Midwest pilots. They feel that the Midwest pilots should have chose a more stable company.
Definately JUST FLAME BAIT ..... like he said.... "add fuel to the fire".

He doesn't stand by or support you Rat. He is like a spoiled brat at the zoo, throwing rocks at the monkey cage. He is trying to whip you into more of an epilectic fit than you are already in, because your tantrums are the only thing that gets him and his new hire Delta buddies off.

Hockeypilot,

PM me the names of these RAH guys you talk of. I have a few choice words I would like to share with them, that is, if you are telling the truth.

But it didn't fail! Midwest is still flying.

The Midwest pilots were outsourced to some whinny brats like you. No wonder Republic pilots don't support our profession or stand up to BB.
