The numbers posted are for New Hires off the street for the mid aug class. All of the FBR in todays class will choose from other equipment and bases...

Each new class will have a posted vacency list to bid from...

I can tell you one of us got the DC9MEM.

The rest: Md88/90 (Atl, Msp, NYC) and Airbus (Msp).

I think there were only 27 people in our class.

Things look good too (growth, hiring). Look out for a couple of BIG AEs coming out. The hiring department said they hired 305 (230 flow/offstreat, 75 recall). If things keep at this pace the hiring will continue next year.

Very nice first day. I am glad to be back and thank you.

So what's the source for the rumored category breakdown in the first class?

Don't know if you know but the key to avoiding that "character builder" is to NOT open the window on the ground after a flight. It worked for me.

I remember the first time a window re-sealed/seated on climbout after I had opened it up on the ground. It sounded like a gunshot and you had to peel me off the ceiling! If you do open it, when you close it bang on the 4 corners and it won't be so bad.

Wow...so New Hires bid for equipment before they ever get to class? That's pretty cool. A lot better than the 5 mins they gave the rest of us to decide
