Why?
They are filing a scope grievance and sending the BP5 one to the System Board.
They are going to continue to research the RAH one.
Isn't being more forceful with the company what people wanted? These are two significant cases that are going to be fought.
What could a "DPA" have done differently in this instance?

Nothing. People are just frustrated, and sending in a DPA card, is a good "Red Meat" moment. It makes them feel good, it is a way to vent frustration at the situation that we all have faced the last ten years. ALPA is just the easiest target.

you guys are very similar to SWAPA for sure, you both have followed in the footsteps of ALPA groups before you, piggybacking on others but never really "leading the industry".....

There's some element of truth to what you say. But there's also way more to it than that. ALPA is an "easy target" because, for the past decade, they did not stand up for our profession.

Not sending out an email that makes management's case and completely prejudices the case going forward.
