Truth? Nobody wants to hear your version of the truth. Nor, your conspiracy theories of how, behind the scenes, managers are secretly plotting to destroy jetBlue and make out with millions. Yea sure .... and exactly who is John Galt?

The truth is nobody can stand listening to a pessimistic naysayer like yourself who spins every single aspect into the most negative way possible. Even if our total compensation package was industry leading and everyone received 20 days off each month, your gloomy outlook would surely find some aspect to start bi+ching about.

There's no good to come out of any of your posts, simply just arrogance, sorrow and fear mongering. You're a rabble rouser whether you'd like to admit it or not, you are. Keep it up, make every pilot below you on the seniority list proud when you medical out from a heart attack....or a mental breakdown.
Low class troll.... Incapable of discussing the issues.

We're dealing in facts and not rhetoric and innuendo.
Plus I have dealt with disability at Bluejet. I'm more committed than ever to change the system.

Liv2Soar, your post is one of the most classless things ever written on this board. Your deep-seated emotional dislike of ALPA has made you purposely blind to the deficiencies of our working conditions, and caused you to actually wish one of our brothers to lose his livelihood and the means to support his family. Absolutely disgusting.

After being threatened to be be sued by flight ops the first PVC member has just resigned. Jetblue forced the PVC to sign NDA's and now wants the indemnification language to allow Jetblue to sue any PVC member which chooses to disclose the truth.

I agree with your first 2 paragraphs, to bad you lost so much credability with the last paragraph. We all want to see JetBlue be profitable but until we get a CBA we will be below industry standard. I am sick to death of the pessimistic attitude of some people on this board as well, but the best way to improve things is to exercise our rights of collective bargaining. I am 100% for JBPA, I just am not a fan of ALPA (because we would be viewed as a regional)

You mean a tier 2 carrier? Just like Alaska and Hawaiian. I'll sign on to either on of their contracts today.

JBPA:

1. Strike fund = $0.00
2. Aeromedical assistance = non existant
3. Legal assistance = non existant
4. Funds for operational expenses at startup = $0.00

ALPA:

1. Strike fund = in the millions of dollars
2. Aeromedical assistance = Best available
3. Legal assistance = Best available
4. Funds for operational expenses at startup = millions of dollars

With this in mind and knowing that your union is only as strong as its members and MEC, why would you not want ALPA? What is so wrong with being a "Tier 2" airline? As someone already pointed out Alaska is in this group. They have one of the strongest MEC's and have a much better than average contract. Heck, many of the regionals in Tier 2 have much better healthcare, work rules, retirement and vacation/sick time accrual. Plus, they actually can still get health benefits when they retire.

Maybe I'm just really slow.....but, please explain yourself regarding your apparent disdain for being lumped with Alaska, Hawaiian, Eagle, etc...

How can you even begin to compare HA and AK to the regionals that are out THERE? That's a pretty far stretch man.

HA pays $113/hr in the right seat of the 717 at yr12 and 19%401k match
AK $121/hr at yr12 in the rt seat and starts at 13.5% 401kmatch

Find me one regional that pays that in the left seat of anything and has a comparable match?
