Does anyone know what the "PIC is only time when you signed for the airplane" mean? Does that eliminate PIC as a student? Instructor? Is it solo and 121 PIC only?

To me, "PIC only when you sign for the plane" means that you were actually the PIC and not time that you were rated in the plane and flying but not actually the PIC. For example, corporate pilots are often typed in the plane and while they could legally log the time they flew as PIC even though they werent really the PIC. Most airlines only want to know the turbine or jet PIC time is when you were really the PIC and not qualified in the plane and fliing but really the SIC.

Honestly, I don't think they'll split hairs over you logging PIC and putting it on the app when you were working on your instrument in a 172 under the hood. They're looking for guys with, as was mentioned, a type rating acting as SIC but logging PIC on "their leg" flying and putting it in the app.

Hi everyone, sorry for the late response. Yes Paok still at at Comair for now hopefully not much longer..
The interview went well and I have had my resume online for quite sometime, been to two job fairs but for various reasons, cancellations, economy...etc timing has been off.
So I am happy to have gotten the opportunity this time around. I feel good about the interview so time will tell. The gouge is great and all of questions are TMAT. SImple format to rememberon answering is SAR...Situation, Action, Result. Always answer in that format. Know the core values, very important and as to how they apply in your job and life. Know a little of the company and just be positive and be yourself. Simple yet still stressfull. The people are great at JB an really make you feel welcomed. This would make my fourth airline and Im pretty impressed so far. They are looking to hire 150 to 200 in 2011 and more in 2012. Good luck to everyone that applied and interviewed. Its all a crap shoot..
Stay tuned......

Latest news:
2 more interview sessions in January and two more training classes in January. No other info other than that. Be ready for a short-notice call to interview and a two-week notice to train if you've already interviewed.
