Good things come to those who wait....... hard work brings reward and a feeling of accomplishment. May not happen soon, but when it does it will be nice.
I do understand what youre saying Fish, Im just trying to keep a positive spin during a terrible time in aviations brief history.

Unfortunately, as long as scumbag outfits like VX can find people willing to work for substandard wages, it takes longer for EVERYONE ELSE to improve overall pay rates.

If VX is a scumbag outfit, what do you call an airline that sells out its wholly owned regional to hire a seperate regional to fly the same routes for cheaper rates? And therefore disrupts the lives of its own pilots to save a buck?

That is a great question Fish? Where is the almighty ALPA on this one, they should be working with their bother Teamsters and put a stop to the unholy alliance between AAG and the non-union SkyWest (as you put it) scumbags.

You have huge problems in your own pool, stop pi$$ing in Virgins.

I have not been on this board long, but even I know Fish/Fubi will not do anything but keep flaming VA. He won't answer any REAL questions.

Fish always gets very quiet when reality is thrown in his face.

Virgin is hiring 140 new pilots between now and June of next year. That's what the training department have been told anyway.

Actually, you guys live in such a fantasy world you have no idea what's happening outside it. No QX pilots lost their jobs. QX eliminated unprofitable jet flying via CPA.

No lives were disrupted. Some guys had to change airplanes, but that translated into better seniority.

Oh, and they STILL make more flying Q400s than your Capts make flying A320s.

So who's the sucker here?

Fish, you're math is a bit fuzzy there. I'm making more here than I ever did as a Q400 driver.

How many days before the interview date did they call you?

Also, does anyone know who to address a cover letter to at VX? Thanks.

From APC:

Current VX Capt rate: $115.
Current QX Capt rate: $121.

Those are pay rates people are earning TODAY.
