If it was about open dialogue then all are welcome. Fish is not about open dialogue, it is about spreading anti-VX dogma at all costs. If it were about open dialogue he would participate in discussion and answer questions that are posed to him. He has been asked several legitimate questions and he refuses to answer any of them. For example he claims the downfall of the industry is due to non-union start-ups undercutting wages. However when asked about the role ALPA relaxing scope had, and the resulting endless outsourcing of mainline jobs to poverty level paying RJ operators, he remains quiet and refuses to answer. That is not an example of an interest in open dialogue.

Personally I don't care if a person agrees with me. But it does bother me when a person is ignorant by his own admission (I have never worked for a non-union carrier, I have never been furloughed, etc) yet feels he has the knowledge and wisdom to tell others what to do with black and white certainty. Of course that is the new reality, use the internet to spew vitriol and baseless statements based on your own ignorance, so perhaps Fish isn't really to blame, he is just following the same path as many modern Americans.

 

Lets all just stop answering him. Flag his posts for removal as they are off topic. If there is no appropriete topic available then lets start one. Then anyone who wants to bash and not contribute anything can be removed. Or if this is a poisined thread then lets get it deleted and start a fresh on so people have a place to go and get information. As it is all we have done is made it worse by participating in his bs.

Opposing view? And you say VX pilots have comprehension issues. It's a thread about information on the VX application process. Nobody asked for a view. All that was asked was information only.

 

This post has run it's course, and I'm sure any suggestions to help pilots apply to VX have been offered. Thread closed.
