I'm not certain of the exact numbers, but the general plan is to place 6 or so planes on line this fall and winter, then only 5 or 6 all of 2012. The big order for the 320 with winglets starts in 2013 with the 320neos to start after that. Total of 60 planes starting in 2013.

Apply through the web site, work your contacts. Someone getting on now will get off reserve fast, then slow climb up the list through 2012, then gang busters.

Don't let the trolls get to you, it is a nice place to work and we are treated well. We have js agreements with just about everyone. We are put up in good hotels and have excellent MX. Having a lot of nice young FAs is a treat as well. Average line holder is 16 to 18 days off with 80 credit.

With a little luck, maybe the 12-13 planes that had been considered will be put back into play.

Looks like they are going to start interviews next week and only looking at hiring 40 people this year.

Sorry to be a dose of reality here, but the moderators will not do anything.

Fish promised the moderators that he would no longer post on Virgin or Allegiant threads. The moderators assured me that he would not be posting either. His promise lasted all of two days - he has that ALPA 'integrity' down pat that's for sure. I brought this up in numerous PMs to the moderators and was ignored. So I called the moderators and fish out in public over their lies and got banned.

And now, since I posted this, getting ready to be banned in 3...2...1....

Why are so many of you looking to quiet fish? It's an open-dialogue forum. A person coming to this forum needs to hear all sides and point of views. Funny (sad) how threatened so many of you get when someone does not agree with you! I'm all for fish!

Last report was seven aircraft between August and December, and then five between January and May of 2012. Then a break on deliveries for about 12 months, until mid 2013, when the 60 aircraft order kicks in.

I will second what Fred Flinstone is saying, most everyone here says this is one of the best companies they have worked for. We have former United, American, TWA, Midwest, ATA, Aloha, and even Southwest (retired at age 60 and got hired here after the age was raised), pilots on property and they are all very happy. Overall just a very fun atmosphere.

Or you can go to places like Alaska and fly with guys like you know who. That should be a real treat

Usair(East, to many to count), ABX, Astar, Netjets, and an Alaska pilot.

I think the issue is not of keeping the Fish quiet but that he has not contributed to the thread which is about applying at VX.
