Rates make a great headline, but pay can be fixed in the work rules.

Scope alone will make this an easy no vote for me--why would we CONCEDE more 76 seat aircraft. We are capable of flying them here.

As far as the North / South split, I really believe there is a deep philosophical difference with regards to Scope.

The fact that they need to get in front of the facts (the actual TA) makes me much more pessimistic than I have been throughout the process. I know we all graduated college and can read most of the regular facts (pay rates, most work rules (like daily minimum), vacation and training pay, etc) without DALPA NN's to interpret for us. Good or bad (and most scope so far has turned out bad) Section 1 is going to be difficult to look at. Oh well, it's here and I can't wait to read it and start pestering the reps about it.

Hell no! That's insulting.

Over a week ago when the TA was first agreed to, I had been told the same thing by a reliable source. I posted the info and was accused by many for having an agenda and an ulterior motive.

I patiently waited hoping tweeking would occur. I emailed my reps, neither returned any form of aknowledgement.

Now I will read the TA with an open mind - once -.

If it is as disapointing as it sounds, I will vote twice. No and yes. I believe many fence sitters like myself will be voting the same way.

Again, I have always said that DALPA will meet their demise by their own hand. This folks is it. By negotiating this TA in this environment and passing it to us and saying this is the best we could do, is an insult.

Bingo. ALPA's expectation management machine is in full-swing. That is what happens when they also have to represent RJ pilots.

4,8.5,3,3 with a scope sale and record profits?

I'll hold my ridicule for when it passes.
