No you're not. Your a CZ pilot until you flow up. You don't get any Delta seniority or benefits or longevity credit until you actually show up for class at DAL.

So when you subtract out the Western pilots, AND the former NWA pilots, how many pilots on the DAL list have been through the "Delta" interview?

Funny. I know a super guy who interviewed at both DAL and NWA and was rejected. Got picked up by Compass however and flowed through to mainline very quickly...

What I got from this thread is that the best way into Delta is to flow through Compass? Are there any other flow throughs, or is that it? If so, how long does it usually take?

The Compass and Mesaba flows are finite, by this I mean there are a fixed number of pilots who will flow. The best way into Delta is to interview and get hired.

...or get hired at Hawaiian and wait for the merger.

There is some talk about DAL hiring later this year and/or early next year. The best way to get interviewed is to have all of your application material up-to-date and get some internal letters of recommendation.

Every DAL pilot hopes for hiring soon, but until the hiring begins for sure, it is generally speculation. Things change. When hiring begins, it will be for a long time. You want to be on the front of that wave.

I heard, through a letter from ALPA, that we are supposed to be hiring over 3000 pilots soon.
