I agree! That's a lot of stuff, hopefully the questions are a sample and not indicative if everything they ask. That's a two day interview! :O

I know this may be a tough question to answer, but if the app window opens sometime in the next few months, do you guys think it will remain open for the foreseeable future or just a short opening?

I was just thinking the same thing. We might know the same guy here...went through training with him back in September, 2011.

Ummm...I had a similar list as well back in May 2011, and they literally asked 5 of those questions. Those questions are good because they permit a good self reflection. Stop being a buzz kill.

I made the original post. I'm the buzzkill you seek.

Some of it might depend on when you get hired and when a system bid is coming up. I got hired a month before the last one. 6 months in and I could hold (wait for it) BOS of JFK on the 190. Yeah, I know, shocking, huh?

It seems that MCO is running about a year or a little longer on the 190. A friend of mine just got MCO A320 on the last system bid, and he's been here a little over 2 years. That one kinda floored me. He lives in MCO, so being on reserve forever and a week won't be that big of a deal, though. Looking down the road, who knows? There are quite a few of us already commuting to BOS and JFK from MCO that are looking to get in as soon as we can hold it. A few more will still commute because they can make more money as line holders. It also depends a lot on what this supposed growth in FLL is going to do, too.
