"Haha...I can't help but laugh at the thought of this fight breaking out at 33,000'. Almost Ron Burgandyish
Boy, that escalated quickly... I mean, that really got out of hand fast. It jumped up a notch.
It did, didn't it?
Yeah, I stabbed a man in the heart.
I saw that. Brick killed a guy. Did you throw a trident?
Yeah, there were horses, and a man on fire, and I killed a guy with a trident.
Brick, I've been meaning to talk to you about that. You should find yourself a safehouse or a relative close by. Lay low for a while, because you're probably wanted for murder."
That's funny!

Sorry to burst your bubble but I'm most certainly not afraid of "people." I'm just not too fond of mentally unstable (or intoxicated/drugged up) people being able to carry something that can do some damage. But, if you're ok with it I suppose you'll be supportive and understanding if you or one of your loved ones happened to be a victim.
This is welcome news....Looking forward to being able to carry a swiss army knife or leatherman again...

Hmmmm, there's one teeny-weeny difference. Why don't you contact each other to see if you could put your two heads together and figure it out. Good luck---and no one help them!

Wow, never thought I'd say this but I'm actually on LNL's side here. Seems like people are giving her a hard time just cuz everything else she says is dumb (lol, jk lnl
).
So what if there's plenty of other things in the cabins one may use as a weapon? It never hurts to reduce the risk, and it's not like people can't simply stow their leatherman or swiss army knife into their checked baggage.
Of course it's obviously most important that the cockpit remains safe, but it doesn't bother me at all that an FA wants the same basic courtesy.

How about some heart monitors that turn the a/c over to ATC control if they stop on the pilots. Surely those wild eyed terrorists from across the pond wouldn't want to be in a ATC controlled tube after they used a leatherman to come after me
Honestly though if all you have is a leatherman and my airline has given me the last 2 years on RSV paid to hit the gym it probably won't end well for you so I say let them come
