While union carriers will maintain their current rates or NEGOTIATE increases the direct relationship is scheduled to dictate a 30% minimum increase in your rates.

I wouldn't say it's strained. The only truly negative stuff I hear is on this board. Most captains recognize the issues, but aren't bitter or hyper aggressive like you fellas.
I've seen a strained labor/mgmt relationship. This ain't it. And, that's just one issue going on right now. Yes I know. It doesn't make good reading because you want to keep the dream alive. JJ |

Either your math is off or you need to call the insurance company and get some $$$ back. Deductible for a family is $2,600 with max co-insurance of $6,000. Nowhere near $13k. Unless your're counting your premiums in that, which is kind of skewing the stats. We're dealing with cancer over here under the green plan, and we're out about $4,000 after seed money/healthy rewards. We hit the max co-insurance for an individual last week. Luckily, I'm healthy right now. The main advantage of othe Green over the Blue plan is that you don't have to hit the Family deductible to make it into the co-insurance "bonus round."
Yeah, those numbers are quite different.. |

I'm here to tell you, any ELT at "any" company, that has 40% of one single labor group acting against them in court, over the course of several years, has a strained relationship with that group!

Keep in mind the nearly 1000 pilots on 3a signed on when the pilot group was less than 2000 total. Also, when nearly 60% of your pilot are looking to leave that speaks volumes.
For sure. You have to laugh at some of the blue juicers on here. They try to make out that all is well in the bluthiesphere. They try to claim the Pilot group are happy but for a small number of whiners on chat forums. 1000 Pilots in 3a, hundreds of Pilots already gone, and hundreds more intent on quitting tells a very different story. In short, HUGE numbers of JB guys aren't happy! A few juicers appear to be though. JJ |

People have left people will leave but let's keep it real. |

Some people are motivated by things other than money. I'm all for fixing our issues, but I don't want an additional bureaucracy to do so. It's enough dealing with an in-house union. Have you never seen the politics and waste that goes on at ALPA National?
I'm a no vote on ALPA. Get over it. |
