While union carriers will maintain their current rates or NEGOTIATE increases the direct relationship is scheduled to dictate a 30% minimum increase in your rates.

I wouldn't say it's strained. The only truly negative stuff I hear is on this board. Most captains recognize the issues, but aren't bitter or hyper aggressive like you fellas.

I've seen a strained labor/mgmt relationship. This ain't it.

I'm here to tell you, any ELT at "any" company, that has 40% of one single labor group acting against them in court, over the course of several years, has a strained relationship with that group!

And, that's just one issue going on right now.

Yes I know. It doesn't make good reading because you want to keep the dream alive.

Unless your're counting your premiums in that, which is kind of skewing the stats. We're dealing with cancer over here under the green plan, and we're out about $4,000 after seed money/healthy rewards. We hit the max co-insurance for an individual last week. Luckily, I'm healthy right now. The main advantage of othe Green over the Blue plan is that you don't have to hit the Family deductible to make it into the co-insurance "bonus round."

Yeah, those numbers are quite different..

Keep in mind the nearly 1000 pilots on 3a signed on when the pilot group was less than 2000 total. Also, when nearly 60% of your pilot are looking to leave that speaks volumes.

I have been fighting with the insurance. I am on the green plan, over 12k out of pocket so far this year. Two of the doctors dont take insurance but they submit it on the back end of service then United decides what they will reimburst (which isnt close to what the doctor charged) and then say o well on the difference and dont count that towards out of pocket either. The numbers right now have us at 13,800 out of pocket before 100% coverage and Blue benefits confirmed that number. I like you had no idea going into this year how bad this insurance is and I have a healthy family. Yes that 13800 is before seed money, HSA or FSA funds. Almost all in network by the way besides the 2 Dr's mentioned above. Thank god my significant other works.

For sure. You have to laugh at some of the blue juicers on here. They try to make out that all is well in the bluthiesphere.

They try to claim the Pilot group are happy but for a small number of whiners on chat forums.

1000 Pilots in 3a, hundreds of Pilots already gone, and hundreds more intent on quitting tells a very different story.

In short, HUGE numbers of JB guys aren't happy!

A few juicers appear to be though.

Hundreds already gone?
What timeframe?
Been here 3 years I don't think I have moved up hundreds.
People have left people will leave but let's keep it real.

I'm a no vote on ALPA. Get over it.

Well politics are suppose to go on at ALPA National. That's their job. Lobbying. But what waste? Please back up your claim with actual facts.
