That's the first I've heard of this. I know both Atlas and FedEx do DOD charters and they have pools with people in them right now. Why couldn't SWA have one?

Anyone have any idea how long it will take to make it to the east coast as a new hire?

Chazz - No. The window for all three waves was done in the 2 week period when everyone could apply. They'll be sending invites from the applicants that applied.

Some questions about your interview: How many were in your interview group? Do you have demographics on them? Is the format still logbook review, panel interview with the TMAT... and in-flight scenario? Did they give any indication on how long for the DB and calls and when classes might start? I interview on the 7th. I am Mil/Civilan, 6800 total time, with mostly King Air PIC time. I got the 737 type back in '02 before I left Active Duty, but not in time to get hired. I have been flying Part 135 King Air Ambulance and C-12 in the Army Guard. Getting ready to try and retire and just applied to Southwest again for the first time in 11 years. |
