They are very clear at the interview...it is EVER IN YOUR LIFE. They truly don't care that you had 7x tickets in 2 years when you were 20. They'll ask you about it, I bet, but they don't care. They will care very much, however, if they pull your records and get back even 1x ticket that you "forgot" about.
If that did happen after they gave you a CJO, you'd still be ok, but they'd be ticked (they told us it has happened....and they were ticked). Since a couple of tickets was not an impediment to a CJO, why not just CYA and put them all down? I did and so did everyone I got hired with. It's no big deal. Just don't lie/"forget"!

I wasn't even sure I had the right month for the tickets I listed. They were both almost 20 yrs ago. I took my best hack at dates/places (I didn't pull my DMV record) and told them in the interview that I had no documentation on those tickets. I wasn't 100% positive the dates and counties were right, but I was positive that those 2x were my only tickets. They just nodded and didn't even ask a question. No big deal.

I had two "unknowns" on my app as well. Unknown county, approx date for 2 tickets. Both were 20+ yrs ago. I couldn't find any data on my license or by calling the states. National drivers registry only gets serious violations such as DUI (according to their website). They went over the tickets in my interview, but couldn't have cared less. They actually laughed because one was in atlanta.

estimations should be fine. and you guys are right, most of these tickets are long gone. I got my NDR and I checked my driving history with the DMV so I could confirm the dates of my tickets and it was completely clean, but you know how it goes, they just don't want surprises. They really don't care about speeding tickets, they care about skeletons (ie people trying to hide something really bad in their past).
