My bad, thanks for the correction. I knew I should have looked it up instead of winging it from memory!

Rumer has it one can bid out-and-backs sooner (I heard as early as 3 years) in the E190 vs 320, any truth to that?

The 190 is the junior airplane. Anything you want - getting a line, out and backs, upgrade, MCO, etc. will come faster on the 190.

As with anything it's how you play the game.
We had a class of about 20 a little over two years ago.
10 went to the bus and the rest of us to the 190, a year into it the 190 guys had lines(I had a build up 4 months into it)the bus guys maybe a line but more likely reserve.
I went for the jr plane in the jr base and life is pretty good.
The 190 should move you up faster.
You can also hold day trips on weekends as a jr guy.
Just be flexible and your set. If you want the bus weekends off and a commuteable trip it's going to be awhile if ever.

The 190 allows you to forget how junior you are at JB. I really enjoy the QOL the 190 allows you since many seem to go to the Bus the second their lock is up! I am also a commuter

Yea but lots of movement in JFK on the 320. 40 guys bidding out or upgrading in the June assignment. Im glad I took the bus- easy trips. But to each his own.

Yeah sure is.
It just all depends who goes where.

You'll get to 50% seniority much faster on the 190 vs the 320. Probably 1-2yrs and 5-6+ for the 320.
