Not nervous. It sounds more bitter..

No, you're trolling a forum about how your competitor needed to pull off to a runup pad in an airport they've been flying out of for 50+ years so that they could get a new takeoff alternate on their paperwork.

Even though it's a one word answer, you won't say what day this because you know they were in the air five minutes later after a 90 second phone call to dispatch.

You must have some kind of personality disorder.

Mike,

It happens to everyone at some point. I can remember when, after we pioneered the HUD on the 727, Angle Lake couldn't decide whether to put them on the 734s.

In the meantime, SWA ordered 350 ship sets for their 73Gs and WE did the very same thing for THREE YEARS...sat at the gate while SWA was doing low vis take offs.

Perhaps at some point, DAL will put HUDs on their jets, but for now, advantage, Alaska.

LMT is in DLs ops specs, but for some reason not for the 737. 757s and buses it is authorized.

Either way, you continue to make your napoleon complex very easy to notice, mike. I'm impressed!

(DL 737s have HUDs, btw)

Because there's nothing adverse about fog in Heathrow, or Stuttgart, or Rio.

Or nothing adverse about crossing the Andes, or airspace issues in the middle east.

Nothing adverse about Quito, Joburg, or Dubai on hot nights, or Jackson Hole, Juneau, or Eagle/Vail in the winter.

I'll just repeat the key points since you don't get it. There was no TO alternate available except KLMT. There was no 90 second phone call. DL couldn't use KLMT. The weather had to improve for the DL flights to move.

I'll refer you to a post above that states KLMT can be used as a takeoff alternate.

(If it matters to you that much!)

I'll just refer you to the post above that states they can use KLMT EXCEPT for the 737s.

The only one getting spanked is your wife...by a crew van full of Delta pilots. All wearing their hats and unable to use Klamath for an alternate.

Get some help.
