We had a 767 FO with years at the airline living on $1000 a month back in the late 1990's. Saving like crazy. Wanted to get $1 million in the market/bank. "I made it so fast (easy?) that I'm going for $2 million." He lived in a crash pad near JFK and had no car. Short of money at the end of the month? He'd jumpseat on NW's w/b's to MSP for lunch and back for dinner. Big plus was he was really into Asian women so he was on the prowl with the NW F/A's while jumpseating.

He'd j/s over to Bangkok for....hmmmm....yes. Once he was in Athens and going to BKK. Simple, get to FRA and then do FRA-BKK. Oh no...that had an ID90 charge. He could jumpseat, for free, FRA-MSP-NRT-BKK to save the FRA-BKK ID90 charges.

Funny part was another FO said he was going to go to BKK with FO Cheapskate. Cheapskate was after cheap.....yes.... in BKK. The other FO wasn't into girls. That really had us confused. Talk about the odd couple.

I'm not sure gender is even that relevant if you're looking for LBFMs.

Sounds like a massive scumbag.
I've always found the losers that have to travel halfway across the world to get laid are some of the worst human beings around.

I had to travel halfway across the world to get laid for years, but I am sure my wife would be offended if I described my commute that way.

Or maybe she’d see it as a massive compliment.

Nonrevving in domestic first/ business as a regional guy? In what mythical age was this ever possible? Heck I'm finally at mainline and I've never once, not once, gotten anything other than middle seat economy on any of our domestic legs.

"Back in the day", 1980's and at least early 1990's, F/C seats non-reving were much more common than they are today.

Interesting enough he met an Asian (he loved Asian women....ergo his non-reving on NW to get his dollar saving meals) doctor non-reving in F/C to and from Thailand on one of his trips. Beats me how long that worked out.
