Anyone have the slightest idea what type of hourly rates they (DAL) were able to secure in the TA? Call me old fashioned or a bit of a historian - but it would take a lot more than a stake in the company to get me to jump on board if I worked there. Investing in my own airline? I already give them enough money. Hmmmm. Hope someone will post terms as they become available.

It's my understanding that the equity stake isn't in the form of stocks or options, it's cash.(maybe into your 401K, maybe in a check) Rumor was somewhere in the $50k - $80k range during the previous negotiations. Again, no facts, purely rumor as I heard it.

Actually my friend I do know my history. I'm refering to Lorezo's use of the holding company while bleeding Eastern to feed Continental. Not much different than what you and DAL have agreed to do....

Reddog,

Since neither you and I are on the negotiating teams and much of the rhetoric on both sides is on hand-me-down information (mine included), what do you think we should do to prevent an Eastern/Continental scenario? I mean this sincerely. You obviously have been on strike and carried the line as I have. I defended my ALPA group and you yours with pride. I honestly have no clue how this should work appropriately so that neither side is or feels slighted.

Do you think that NWA Mec has contacted the Delta Mec, to do just that? NWA pilots keep saying that the we need to head back to the table...but who is going to make first contact at this point?[/quote]
